With the ever expanding onus for metal recycling being addressed by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, T-Met Ltd have taken extreme steps in the industry to comply and encourage an environmentally correct system for the collection and processing of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

T-Met Ltd, established in February 2000, has combined an ever-expanding business linked with increased opportunities to form one of the largest networks of the recycling and export of scrap metal in Northern Ireland. The company itself has three main depots strategically located throughout the North of Ireland equipped with all the latest scrap handling machines, non-ferrous processing equipment and the new depolution equipment, suitable for End of Life Vehicle Legislation. In addition to the above T-Met Ltd use hydraulic shears, which produce cut grades of scrap from the obsolete metal materials delivered to its depots for the steel and foundry industry. The final product from the shearing process satisfies most of the strict quality and environmental requirements and is marked mainly in Europe. All of the depots producing these types of cut materials are accredited under BSENISO.
